Sure, miapal, it basically just confirmed that Bobby and Kyan were a couple. I think the reason she locked it is because she also said that the people closest on set were Gale and Scott so there are people who maybe flamed her for that because they are dead set on Gale and Randy being a couple so they don't want to hear that.

She introduced by saying some of the not so 'super-sekrit' stuff she could divulge (leaving the impression there was a great deal of 'super-sekrit' stuff she couldn't) was the three short items: Kyan/Robert is real; Gale was closer to Scott than Randy; and if Hal were not an actor he could make his living as a shrink/head-mender. Spot the provocation (no prizes).

Makes perfect sense to me that, in RL, Gale would be closer to Scott than to Randy. Age-wise and intellect-wise they seem to complement each other. As far as Hal being a perfect "counselor" type, I can see that, too (when I separate him from Michael). Most comics, I'm told, are sensitve judges of human nature when they're not "on."
Has anyone else noticed that the pix of Gale on their VF's are fading??? The more I look at them, the more they seem to transfer themselves to my optic nerve. No matter where I am, no matter what I'm doing....HE'S always there!

I agree 'fitz. I've often considered that same fact. Randy is much younger than Gale and although I'm sure they're close (because of their tv contact...*cough*) I never thought that they hung out together. I could totally see Gale and Scott being buds. They really seem to have the same down to earth, friendly, laid back quality about them.
As far as Hal is concerned I couldn't make any judgement based on what little I know of him outside QAF, but I can understand how people view the whole "comic" personality being the sensitive/understanding type. I have some personal experience with that.......  Thanks vgt78 it's always great to get some personal info on our own Fab 5 (6 oops, forgot Bobby....don't ask how I could, I'm blond and aging by the minute...) especially since we see so little of it in the media, print or otherwise. eta, and no 'fitz, my pictures are as vivid as the first time I viewed them. Perhaps you need new glasses....or maybe cataract surgery....*hehehehe*

Heifitz, thank you! When I read that post about Scott being closer to Gale than Randy, I thought the exact same thing that you did, with the ages and their intellects, it would make total sense, so when I thought about it I really wasn't surprised at all.

I think it was Scott that said awhile back that Gale,Randy, Peter and himself that they were all pretty much tight knit group and hang out when ever they got a chance. I know they were all seen going to see a play a few weeks back.

It's cool when you like the people you work with, it makes everything just so much better, and yeah, I think they did take in a play together, atleast I think it was Scott, Peter and Randy that was mentioned.

Actually, no offense to Annie but her postings are her opinions. I would beg to differ.............That Randy and Gale are incredibly, intensely close, is a well known fact on the QAF set...... |

Obviously, I don't know anything about anything as far as the QaF set goes, but I do know that both Scott and Peter were at the Hollywood Film Festival to see PoT when we were there. I thought it was wonderful that they would show such support for Gale.

Said Hi to Randy as well at POT's Tribeca premiere in NY, philflam! Before this turns into a completely juvenile who knows what argument, I'll just point out that I'm not stating any revelations regarding G/R, just reiterating old, well established facts from those who know them well. And with that, I remove myself from this conversation!!!

I have more then one "intensely-close" friend. So could Gale. There doesn't need to be an arguement or speculation on who is he closer with.
There's enough love to go around the entire group. I'm sure that's why we can feel the closeness of the characters, because the closeness of the actors shines through. |

What AnnieGirl said! I'm sure there is no intention to play the childhood "Mom always liked you best" game. Do we measure our friendships on a scale of "good-better-best?" Nope. And I'm sure Gale, Scott, Peter, Randy don't either. They're all buddies, and good for them. And good for us, the viewers, as that camaraderie shows through in all the actors' performances.

Moving right along...
I was telling a friend about Gale in Particles of Truth, how we wonder how he'll do out in the Real Reel World, how we wish him the best, etc. etc. She said: You know, when/if he becomes a recognizable/big star...it may be hard for those of you who know him When. She is right....it will be a little hard, definitely odd for us...to be at a gathering and have someone say, "Hey, has anyone here ever heard of a guy named Gale Harold? Saw him the other night in (whatever film) and he's fantastic! Where/how would we begin to respond? |

all I'm gonna say about this is , most of whats posted was Her opinion period , not a fact. If I had not met her in person , I would have taken her word b/c she's close to Scott but since I've met her and heard the things that came out of her mouth about Randy , I'm hesitant to take her word. I believe that Peter/Gale/Scott/Randy are very close from Interviews and sightings. The 4 of them like Theater and had done stage work so they share the same interest. Peter and Scott are more closer just b/c of what both actors are always saying about each others activities outside QAF. so I will take the actor's words.
Thats it . Lets move along.
