And AG, I'd make out with you anyday - at least in your dreams.
Just out of curiousity, what did I look like?

Awwww! I'm so flattered! Too bad JV is off line (at least I assume she is still off line since I haven't heard from her!) she would appreciate you thinking of her as much as I do. I'm sure Flibber does also!

ROTFLMAO!!
That is classic, AG! I am literally laughing out loud as I type this. You are terrific. How I wish that were true - for many, many reasons! Thanks for my laugh/good feeling/remembrance of the week! |

Hope you had sweet dreams phil! Unfortunately, philflam Bingham didn't show up in my dreams again last night. |

Yesterday I re-read JV's lovely series "And Every Morning After," and while I love her dearly, it's purely platonic!
Edited to add a link to JV's fanfic, in case anyone hasn't experienced these amazing stories, or who, like me, could use a refreshing dose of BJ-lovin'. www.geocities.com/qafjv/justvisiting.html |

Flib, thanks for the jv reminder! I loved her Breakage stories especially and will enjoy reading them again.

Quote: Let's not be too hasty, Flib. If philflam looks like Kim, you don't happen to look like someone named Gale Harold, do you? Thanks for recommending my poor old series! |

Unfortunately, I look like Gale Harold's mom.

I haven't laughed that hard in a long time! Ah, well. The hell with real life. Let's go back to fantasies and dreams, including AG's. |

Just when you think it's fading .... a little while ago I tossed a shirt from across the room to my bed and The Prom scene where Justin throws Brian's jacket to Daphne flashes in my head.
Hopeless people. Say it with me! |

My husband is talking to a friend about a fantasy baseball league and right now they are discussing "pitchers" and "hitters". I'm having trouble not laughing out loud. I keep picturing that scene after Gale's loft was robbed and he began to think about all the strange people who had been in the loft in the last few weeks.

Flim and I have been playing a game called Fowl Words where you get seven words and you have a certain amount of time to find as many words as you can. There is always one seven letter word.
We got the following letters: WLOCSPI. After a few words, Flim said COWLIPS and I laughed not believing that I hadn't seen it first! Turns out the word was COWSLIP which is a flower. And we didn't get it. |

Even after a couple of years have passed, when you hear people say certain phrases it brings back memories of QAF!
"It's not your fault." "Few do!" "I'm telling you now." "Nine and a half inches, cut." (this when I was buying material to make a quilt! Can anyone think of any more? |

This doesn't seem to happen to me (though jv's picking on 'whence the woody?' will for the rest of time make me trip over hearing or using 'whence', which wouldn't be the case if she hadn't -- useful word that, 'whence', right place I guess).
But in particular, I don't expect to hear 'It's not your fault' any too soon, or much like it. I'm impatiently waiting for 'grandfather clause' however. Use it myself shortly. |

I went to see "The Great Debaters" last night (an unusual mid-week occurrence for us old folks). It was a very good movie but near the beginning, some students were given a topic and asked to give a famous quote and the author.
The first two topics were unimportant. However, the third topic was "Self-pity." I actually laughed out loud when I fully expected the student to say, "Self-pity makes my dick soft" - Brian Kinney. Flam looked at me like I was crazy - which, of course, isn't far from the truth. |

Ok - this was an actual conversation with my nail lady yesterday:
Her: I can't take a lot of medicine because I'm allergic to penicillin which means I'm allergic to Tylenol. Me: Tylenol? Tylenol's what they give you when you're allergic to everything else. The words were out of my mouth before I realized I had said it! It didn't hurt that I had just watched episode 1.1 the day before - LOL! |
