LOL, I think Gale is usually easy-going. (Unless you're Hal.) But I guess he has something to be cranky about now! Does make you think of Brian taking
Ted's head off, though, doesn't it? Today's report says continued improvement and full recovery expected. : ) Hope it's not too hard and long a
road.

TV Guide has a small article about the accident. No new news but this tidbit:
"A source close to the actor tells TV Guide that Harold owns two motorcycles (including a Ducati), has experience with his bikes' mechanics and is routinely seen riding with a helmet." |

Gale update | ||

From tvtattle.com:
http://jam.canoe.ca/Telev...008/10/24/7190536-ap.html Looks like Gale continues to make good progress. What great news. I wonder if we've seen the last of him on Desperate Housewives for this season after we see the shows with the scenes he'd already shot before the accident. I hope he's able to get back to work on the show before it wraps for the season, but I guess we should just be glad he survived to make a full recovery. I am at lunch reading the lastest Patricia Cornwell book called Scarpetta. I just started reading and on page 10 there is the following quote (no spoilers):
"I did look him up on the Internet," he confessed. "I'm surprised Benton lets him anywhere near you. Reminds me of, of what's-his-name on Queer as Folk? The football star? Drove a Hummer and quote the homophobe until he hooked up with Emmett, who everyone says looks just like me, or the other way around, since he's the one who's famous. Well, you probably don't watch it." Imagine my surprise! |

"Well, you probably don't watch it.", huh? She probably does, she or folks she knows.

Hi Noxin! It's been ages.

You've got me going, that book's around here someplace, I put it aside for the future. I've read quite a bit of Scarpetta, enough to have two
minds about wanting more, but every now and then Cornwell writes something clicks so well (like she has a very good day or good year), you just have to stay
open to the possibility. Read her JACK THE RIPPER without being convinced, as she knows, she's arguing in an area where proof's impossible. Yet my
local art gallery has a painting attributed to Sickert, on what grounds I can't imagine, for it's unlike anything else of his I've seen, not
daylit and peopled, but gaslit and observed by none other than Sickert, alone. Ooky 'colors' too, which might only reflect the mood aroused by
gaslight, in a lonely observer. But whatsay it's a painting reflecting a special mood eh, a really private one? It's of a Victorian two-storey
building seen corner-on, and for what reason he'd paint such an uninteresting thing in such an unappealing way only invites speculation. Jack would have
been pretty interested in corners, lack of observers, shadows, and once seen this way this oddity of a painting hasn't a building for its subject, but
them. Sinister. Cornwell could easily be right, though unable to prove it.

Lots of QAF cast news on QAF Addiction. Interviews with Gale (pre-accident, he looks good, I think) and Thea.
PS: A web site is, too, a form of "media." PPS: Didn't know where to post this. |
