Some comments from executive producers Bob Daily and Sabrina Wind about Gale:

" He just shot his first scene today and Marc (Cherry) said it went great."

"And it wasn't an easy scene to start with it invovled a little skin."

Thursday is ABC's press day so there should be some pics of Gale and the rest of the cast.

This is good news; I can look forward to the first episode much more eagerly now! Watching DH seems like a penance, but for Gale, I'll force myself. The thought of skin helps.

BTW, they've done some editing and the final line of that paragraph now reads:

"Note: If you are offended by the notion of Harold in his Skivvies in a hot love scene, please, check your meds."

Again, here's the link from tvtattle.com....especially read the message board comments at the end....lots of us Gale Harold fans out there and all saying the same thing - Gale's the ONLY reason we'll be watching DH when it returns !! Love it and still can't believe he'll be on network tv for us to see - and - how lucky are we his first scenes he's filming are without a lot of clothes ! Wooo Hooo...certainly it won't be as much of him as we were treated to on QAF, but we'll take it !!

I've been asked by a non-American what "skivvies" mean. For those not up on Yankee slang, it means he'll be in his underwear.

I love this interview. How cute is it that Gale wanted Sharon to be the "lead" in a story about him? And what was Randy doing running around Paris? Wasn't he supposed to be rehearsing in the Berkshires? Guess that was before he went back to BTF.

Teri Hatcher was on Entertainment Tonight Thursday. She said the new guy (she didn't use Gale's name) is great. They showed Gale's scene from the finale. Teri then said she gets naked in the first episode.

I'm not a regular viewer of DH. Is it a regular thing for them to do love/sex scenes and show skin? Of course, it's still network so they can't go too far.

In the new TV Guide Magazine with Ellen Pompeo on the cover there is an article on the new men on Desperate Housewives. I couldn't find it on line.

There is a picture of Gale and Teri.

Excerpts:

Teri said she is having fun with her new love interest. "Not only are we kissing, we're taking our clothes off. too!"

Best known for playing gay Svengali Brian Kinney, Harold, 39, says Jackson will be a "positive (influence) in Susan's life."

It also mentions that Gale is single.

That seems to be the general consensus - LOL! I agree that it wouldn't be my first (or second or third or maybe fourth) choice, but I'm so glad to see him in the mainstream media.
