UNCLE BOB was that two-man (?) play Gale was in way back. Looks as though some discussing must have gone on, between Gale and Scott re this writer, but we don't know when, or who did the recommending.

That's right, it's the same playwright, isn't it? Good catch. I barely noticed.
Interesting that Scott is playing British. Wonder how he is at non-American accents? Unfortunately, unless we have a secret member in Pasadena, we probably won't get much by way of reports. It does sound like an interesting production, and I'm glad he's working. |

I agree, Scott seems like a genuinely nice guy, and he's quite talented at comedy. I often wanted to strangle Ted, but I've always liked Scott. I'd love to see him get some great second-banana part on a really good comedy sitcom. If there is such a thing any more - which is doubtful!

Sharon Gless / Robert Gant on Nip/Tuck | ||
|
Not sure where to post this - but chose here to do so:
The Jan. 22 episode of Nip/Tuck featured Sharon Gless and Robert Gant in the episode ! I was so surprised. Robert Gant played the husband of an old woman - married her for her money hoping she'd pass away soon and he'd be rich - but it didn't happen. She wanted him to have plastic surgery to have hair implants on his chest and various other areas...he ended up having a stroke during sex and became a vegetable. Sharon meanwhile was playing a talent agent and became Sean's agent. She appears to have recurring role on next week's episode. It was good to see them both again. |

For future, probably best in these mixed-cases to start up a new topic here - then let the topics bubble up and sink down in the forum independently, just as
the actors' projects are independent. But for now I'll simply change the title to fit the post... and then Sharon, Robert and Scott can all rise and
sink together!
NIP and TUCK seems to deal out harsh karma to its characters... The one time I watched seemed as though there was a season (if not series) Finale going on. All (what I took was) the leads were singing - the songs were punk/fake-sentimental-goodbyes (plus each went on forever). No visible plot. |
